A compilation of narratives, this road represents a collection of pensive piano music. Starting out as a performer/artist led me to teach, conduct, create, explore and return home to compose. Each piano piece has a linking musical thread, much like the connectedness of our lives and personal experiences. I hope this collection of reflective, soothing piano music leads you to reflect on your own direction and where you are going next.
Rising Mist:
This album explores how unexpected experiences can lead to transformative change. Its musical curves mirror the unpredictable paths we navigate daily. While each piece aims to guide the listener toward peaceful reflection, the twists and turns remind us that life's travels are rarely predictable.
"Rising Mist" unfolds into a swirling, whispered mystery, obscuring what lies ahead. This EP explores that sense of wonder and discovery, taking the listener on a journey from the initial uncertainty of the mist to a place of clarity. The music is largely improvised and minimally edited, preserving its spontaneity and emotional authenticity.

Nancy Gosset (“Go-say”) is a Canadian Composer, Music Educator, and Visual Artist whose lyrical, expressive piano works typically begin as improvisations and are often referenced as filmic. Her unique sound is ever evolving. Renowned music critic William Littler once described her style as a slow roller coaster ride through the musical staff.
With musical family roots in Europe, Canada and the US , Nancy shares her debut piano album"Stories" through evocative compositions that resonate with listeners seeking positive energy and flowing thoughtful melodies. Each piece reflects on our lives interconnected journeys with hints of jazz-inspired harmony. Inspired by the dancers she has worked with in the past, get swept into the moment and be transported by its emotional current.
